Time

Time

t = Time

s = Distance

v = Velocity

WHAT IS IT ?

Time is a fundamental physical quantity that expresses the duration of events and the sequence of their changes. It is a quantitative measure of how long something lasts and serves to order events in chronological order.

In physics, time is defined more precisely. Currently, the basic unit of time in the International System of Units (SI) is the second, which is defined as the duration of 9 192 631 770 periods of electromagnetic radiation corresponding to the transition between two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the cesium-133 atom.

CALCULATION:

Enter distance in metre (m) or kilometre (km) e.g: m

Enter velocity in metre per second (m/s) or kilometer per hour (km/h) e.g.: m/s

Enter distance

Enter velocity

EXAMPLE:

A car travels 200 km at a speed of 50 km/h. How long will it take to travel this distance

t=s/v

t=200/50

t=4

The car will travel the distance in 4 hours.
